You know I've been thinking about replacing the stock head unit for a while. I'm not a fan that I can't use direct inputs for my GPS and MP3 player with the stock.

Also, it seems worth it to me to buy a $300 head end that already has the mic and bluetooth built in.

Looks like Sony also has a new head end (the 5,000) that supports the bluetooth streaming profile. Meaning pretty much all the new cell phone mp3 players can wirelessly connect with full head end control of the cell phone (it basically becomes a wireless storage device).

But glad to hear that the road noise doesn't kill the call.
