The most stressfull day in a man's life with women. St Valentine was executed for performing marriages in defiance of the Roman Ceasar. Somehow, on this day, modern women have found how to celebrate that event by creating a ritual, a gauntlet of pain and stress as it were, for all men.

Cupid is a ruse to fool the feeble minded. Do not be fooled by this evil ritual.



I have strict orders from SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED, not to buy flowers, candy, jewelry or horror of horrors, a big internet Teddy bear.

Somehow, removing these options from the table is not helpful. It's mean, actually.

Is she testing my intelligence, creativity or nerve?

One never knows with women.

But I think I have it figured. Friday Afternoon, we are leaving work early and going to the Old Towne St Charles MO boutique shops and later, dinner at a high end restaurant owed by a friend of some 40 years.....Mother-in-laws House.

If Cathy is unhappy, Donna will straighten her out.
