Hate to see you have to let your car go.. but sounds like opportunity is on it's way to knock on your door. @#31 last year, this is probably real close to being in the bank this round. We still going to see you at the Dragon or planning to throttle back on expenses now?
I'll unfortunately have to pass on the Dragon this year... I might be able to make a guest appearance up there during the weekend (I'm only three hours away) but I won't be lodging up there. Finances aren't tight (yet) but I know every "splurge" done at the moment could be put towards the stockpile. Being responsible sucks sometimes... LOL

Best of luck to you and your Wife with her new career aspirations, and it's good to know you will still be right here where we need ya.
I wish I could talk my Nephew into buying your car, I know he would really enjoy it. He lives in Mississippi, (just outside Memphis) so he's really not that far away from You either. Only problem, he's about 6'4" tall. But he's driven mine, so I think I'll give him a call.
Thank you for the consideration!! He would certainly be happy with it

That's great to hear, Jim. Kim truly has a heart for helping people... specifically, the elderly. This career has been on her heart for a long time, so I know it's not a whim. The money is simply a perk... Tennessee offers above average salary for PTs, so she will certainly be doing very well once established. In fact, she is already putting in for a weekend "tech" position at the local rehab center... just one more thing to add to the portfolio when she applies

And besides, aren't you going to need a honkin' BIG SUV for all the John & Kim kiddos in a few years?

Funny thing is, up until VERY recently I was convinced I'd be a "lifer" with the SRT. But After crunching numbers with it sold vs. hoarding it, the selling of it makes too much sense. As rare as these things are, there's no sense in me keeping all the fun to myself. And as Mr. Miata mentioned above, stepping back into one after the dust settles isn't out of the question. As for the SUV, Kim is nuts over the 2012+ Mercedes ML. She only wants a 350 (not the V8) so the prices on those should become attainable in another couple of years. Trying to hold off on the kiddos for now...

Thank you for the kind words. I am VERY blessed to have her as my wife. She is one of those "pinch me" brides where I wake up every day wondering how I landed her. As a man, it's my job to do everything in my power to encourage her and help her advance. As she succeeds, so we both do. I'm settled into my career (Export Quality Assurance with Nissan North America) so it's her time to shine. And shine, she will. I've prayed about this whole situation and I have an uncanny "peace" about it all. God is aligning people and opening doors for her in this career... She wants to see me in another sports car soon, because she knows how passionate I am about the hobby. And she didn't push me into this decision -- I floored her when I presented the idea to her. Happy tears followed, because she saw that I am placing so much confidence in her success. Her grades are amazing, her work ethic is second-to-none.

For those of you that don't know her, here's a picture of the future PT
