On a practical note when I asked my daughter's boyfriend who is the head mechanic at an independent Mercedes shop regarding the 51K on mine, he said his Mercedes which has the same engine has 187K miles on it with no problems. Meaning, if taken care of, they're pretty bullet proof engines. Yes, of course, that doesn't mean other things can't go wrong with it, but 125K miles is far short of 187K.
