Ok... Here is the deal. My first max care warranty was around 1300. As the car got older the price to renew goes up. 3k is an ok price but I think I paid 2500 for mine. I am good for another 5 years. I can tell you that most people here that say it is a waste of money may not be driving their cars for than a few hundred miles a year. If you drive the crossfire everyday things will go wrong. And this car is not cheap to fix unless you do the labor yourself. I can tell you I got all my money back on repairs and then some. I can't even begin to tell you everything I had fixed and I am thankful I had the warranty.

My most recent problem is my airbag light. The module is bad and it is a 3k part. I guess I can try and save a few bucks with buying a Mercedes part for 300 dollars and do it myself. But do I want to risk having all my airbags deploy as I am trying to save a few bucks doing it myself? I would rather let the warranty pay the bill and have a professional do it.

So yes... I would buy the warranty. Our cars are not made by honda. They are German and complicated. They are expensive to fix if you want a professional to do it right. The first thing that breaks your warranty will pay for itself.
