Yes even a 3 year old battery can be going bad or even done especially if the car has sat for long periods of time.
I will tell you that the batteries in our cars can cause so many unusual problems that you might not even consider.
Do yourself a favor and just spend the money for a new battery so you can absolutely rule it out as the cause of the problems and of course have the alternator tested to be sure it is not bad as well.
Don't be upset....once you resolve a few issues you are having you are gonna love your Crossfire
