yes - same here, although someone said to me - don't leave them in if you're putting your car into storage as their parasitic drain can be large = dead battery.
I have no info on the validity of such a claim, but I know the stock drain from just the car itself is not small.

Be good if there was a micro USB I/O interface out there so you could "add" I's (eg: EGT/AFR) and output O's to do some relays.
