Gary (valk) I know you love cruising around Lake Shore Drive, eh? eh?
Would you want to go grab food later in the cruise? Preferably at a place that has enough parking for around 15 Xfires hahahah.
Last time it was a blast
I do want to make sure the weather is a nice 65 to 75 degrees though, so we don't have to worry about being cold and whatnot.
Take a look at our pics from the last time >> CLICK HERE
Well last time...YES , we met at Cheddar's in Bolingbrook for easy access to I-55 to head downtown together.
Stop #1 at the Museum of Science and Industry which is a good location to the south to get out, gather and then begin our run together going north on LSD (Lake Shore Drive )
Stop #2 at the Adler Planetarium.
This is also a great spot to park and gather for a group photo by the lakefront with the Chicago skyline behind us.
Then we can proceed north again on LSD to
Stop #3 at Montrose Harbor to once again gather for group pics again by the lakefront.
This LSD run covers nearly 14 miles of Chicago's beautiful lakefront from South of downtown to North of downtown

At that point in our day we need to head to lunch at a location to be determined that can accommodate a group of Crossfires for parking.
Now if we want to make this a more complete day out together we can all head to Navy pier and eat lunch there.
Several options for good food at Navy Pier.
Restaurants
Food Court
Parking is a bit steep at $25 but can provide enough parking for ALL of us in the garage at Navy Pier.
Then as we did last year we enjoyed a sunset cruise on Lake Michigan.
There are also earlier cruise times if sunset is to late for anyone.
Usually you can buy tickets on location for any of the cruise times.
This is my idea but I'm open to other suggestions and of course we can never predict the weather for these GTG
Also last year lunch was mid afternoon so hope that is OK
