I disconnected the battery for a few minutes and tried again and the same thing happened, I only tried to start the car once because of all the scares I've heard about frying the hardware.

Does this sound like a SKREEM module that chose to go out on me the second I get a new key casing? I tried the reprogramming as well and nothing has worked.

This car is my daily driver and I need to get to work in the morning.

Please Help!
It would be too much of a coincidence for the SKREEM to fail at the same time as the fob was switched out. Did you actually put that little chip that is situated at the very front inside the chip into the new fob?
Did it slip out of the fob or out of position?
