+1 I agree. Why repair with old stuff when you know its gonna fall apart quicker that the new one will.
I actually do enjoy the time I spend while fixing things up
I get few beers, few friends and take a whole day to fix something even if it is such a small task. Also I do enjoy to look around to find a weird way to fix something. So it is basically just a point of view
