All they could come up with, was a temperature variation between the US and Aust must be the reason for the change in the US??? How can you respond to logic like that?
WOW! They tell us up here that the paper deteriorates quicker as some MB SLK engines have had the filter break up causing engine seizure!
They told me it was MB's call not Chrysler's. MB's practice is to keep the oil filter in for 10,000 miles. Some MB owners change the oil before the 10,000 miles but the dealer keeps the same filter in!!
