The salesman is flaking out on me, so this one may be a no-go also. I asked him to provide both fobs, owner's manual, and confirm the brakes weren't worn-out, and I get the feeling he thinks I just slapped his wife. Damn, everytime I ready to pull the trigger the target disappears.
Just a heads up (and you're probably already on top of this) but I'd also ask when the coil packs were last replaced. This is another high dollar, common failure item on the AMG.
