Mopar Muscle
I had the honor to visit one of our customer's "man shop" while out on an Ohio farm delivery this week. I was like a kid in a candy store. I not only saw a rare 6-pack hemi Challenger, two more, one a convertible. The other two were not number matching, but the 6-pack was. One of 1100 made. He had a 70's Ford Ranchero, with a 429. A '69 Camaro SS, roll cage, small black and all in perfect condition as was all the other cars. An H-1 Hummer, my favorite. '69 427 Red Corvette. I asked why the odd collection. His answer was as I expected. Being of my age, these are the cars he always wanted as a kid. He doesn't go to car shows and rarely drives any of them, but he spends time in shop tinkering with them. He was working on the Ranchero while I was there. He restored all of them himself other the pasted 30 yrs. I was going to take a few photos, when I learned of his secret passion, and decided not to. He was OK with it, but I could tell he doesn't share his passion with too many out siders. His wife, btw, drives a new 300 SRT. So, I am headed back over there Monday to deliver the rest of his seed, and I'm donating my SRT flag to his shop. A rare find. Just had to share. If you have any questions about the cars, as I'm not a Mopar guy. Ask, and I will get answers. He loves his hemis...
OH, I about forgot. Lorne....they were purple...lol
