but seriously as i tell my son, grab your cell phone and call someone or act like you are talking to someone... make motions like you are describing the car and reading his lic plate... they will think you are calling the cops or at least reinforcements (reinforcements here in NY are friends that come flying over to meet you when you are in trouble).
