The problem with most owners is that they drive the crap out of the cars and skimp on maintenance to save money. How many drivers of leased cars do anything but minimal maintenance during the life of their lease? And lots of high-end cars get leased because the owners cannot afford to buy them but want to be seen driving them. Audis have a crappy reputation, and while mine has a few issues, it is still going strong at 227k miles. I blame the owners more than the vehicles.

PS - I do agree with the clunky 6-speed. It bothers me more than the console cup holder. I did have the tranny fluid changed, but it did not help much.

Goldwing; I totally agree...it's one's attitude about the car... "car people" really appreciate the car, and in turn treat it with respect and admiration... I'm in love with my Crossfire...therefore I treat it with that in mind...Carl
