Default Re: Do you ever feel cheap with your crossfire?

Ok i gotta say your attitude is very offensive to someone my age... first, this car is nowhere near attractive to the "boy racer" type that you say are purchasing the car; it neither has the power or popular culture appeal... second, i take offense to your ragging on young owners, i modified a '98 RT for 4 years and sold it for 3 times market value, then purchased a clean title crashed PT GT Cruiser which i repaired and sold for 3k profit, and then purchased my Crossfire at deep discount cause i searched for the lowest price in the country and specifically for a base model + the money i made on my past cars... I don't know, but as far as i am concerned i worked my *** off on all my previous cars to get to where i am so it seems only fair that i'd be given the same respect as a 30 something driver. And its not just from owners like yourself that i see this disrespect, the dealer techs are just as bad. I can't drive into a dealership service department without getting glares. So i am forced to go to a Dodge dealer where they know what was under the hood of my RT and they know what i am capable of.

As for people working at McD's and buying these... Not a chance, financing even a 20k car for 5 years turns out to a $350 - $400 dollar payment per month for a young buyer... Add the fact you need full insurance... it becomes very much not affordable quickly to McD's employees.

So god forbid these young drivers where simply smart enough to get the car on their own by working their *** off... And they don't work at McDonalds... I'm a Networking Technician and am working on my Bachelors in MIS while i work full time... its a different world out there now a days, you can't sit on your behind waiting for things to be handed to you like people did in the past... too much competition around ya...
