As to the NO AC part of your problem, get yourself a measuring gauge for the AC low pressure return hose and check the pressure real quick. If you're below 30psi when its around 70 degrees outside then you've got a leak or are running low on freon from that leak. I actually went ahead and tossed in a can of 134A freon in my car 2 days ago because the AC wasn't really cooling much of at all. I know there's a leak somewhere but until I have the time to find it by running to a shop itll have to do. The gauge should cost you around 20 bucks from an auto parts store. Got mine from Oreily's as i hate autozone for the amount of sheer stupid their employees tend to accumulate between themselves.
