Without adding a puffer there is not a lot to be done. The ECU tune, single intake, larger throttle body and maybe the sprint booster ( no more power but better throttle response) is about it. There's not much to be gained in the exhaust area and swapping gears can be $$$ive The above mentioned mods, maybe upgrading the brakes and suspension will make a nicely balanced car, reasonably quick, decent handling but it will never be a rocket.
