I've had a similar problem twice the last year. On a long trip, my BAS/ESP light went on and I lost my cruise control. Everything worked fine the next day. I had nitrogen in the front to try out and now have that in the backs. Maybe as the air expanded in my rears and the nitrogen didn't in the front, it caused the problem. The first time I just added air to get my pressure right. I'm hoping this takes care of it and I'll report back if it doesn't. It sort of makes sense in my limited brain.
