Thanks for that info Itsky . . .

I did the transmission flush today and cleared the trouble codes. Shifter assembly seems to be working fine (at least for now). Car remains in limp mode, however. Code P0705 is gone but code P0715 keeps coming back and throws the CEL again. Guess I need to take it to a professional and get that conductor plate replaced.
