I have not seen proof but according to what I have read in the Owners Manual and read here on the forum, the light out indicator is not hooked up to the internal lights, just the external lights.

All of the exterior lights do work except the led strip on the back and the L. O. Indicator throws an error.
I disabled the led when i bought the car and the indicator was not on, so it is not related to the led.
I dont know what causes this problem :/
