We had the same problem with our '05 in cream, except the leather was worn rough when my wife tried to clean it. So I found a $10 Chinese leather one on eBay that matches the charcoal grey of the dash pretty well. It was a real bear to stitch on but looks really nice after spending 2+ hours on it. Too bad I hadn't seen this first, it would have been worth the extra $20. Might still.
