I know exactly what you mean. We started the new year off right, in our limited roadster. On Jan. 1 '06 we crossed the New Mexico/Texas state line at 145 mph, leaving an SRT4 in the dust. Still had more to go, and handled better than I ever dreamed.
Still very disappointed though; I was under the impression that "Limited" was an option package, not the speed when your wife starts hitting you saying "That's fast enough... Slow down".
