I know exactly what he's talking about -- it's when the car is on a lift, and the suspension is unloaded, the bigger diameter tires will "scrub" the lower portion of the fenderwell arch (essentially, the trailing edge of the rocker panel).

This is due to the suspension moving forward ever-so-slightly when there's no weight on it.

If he will squeeze it in there, it WILL fit. It's all about the angles
