OK, that seems reasonable. Key should have worked. I assume your latch is put back together and all fuses checked, not just locking system? If you haven't tried already, try disconnecting positive cable and reconnecting after a few minutes. I can't figure a dead battery causing this. I have had both cars with dead batteries over the winter when my maintainers went bad. But, I never lock the cars in the garage.
Yeah the latch is put back together, i only checked the fuse for the central locking system though (#26 i think it was), thats the only one that i found that has anything to do with the locking system, maybe i missed something?
I tried disconnecting the negative cable for a few minutes and then reconnecting, still didnt work. Does it matter if i disconnect positive or negative? I've always heard that negative should be disconnected first
