Default Re: Ways to beef your horsepower and general performance.

The dual does not require you to remove your grille. There are some plastic support pieces that have to be removed in order to bring the tubes thru. Doesn't hurt anything. I have ran dual CAI on both my cars for years now. My take on performance parts for the SRT6 are very simple. Dual CAI, a pulley of your choice, a separation kit, a catch can, a pulley saver kit, and lastly, the TUNE. I am never in favor of continually retuning the car. Get your mods on there, and lastly, tune it. DRIVE and ENJOY. I have tuned the roadster twice and the coupe once....luckily they are where I wanted them. That doesn't always happen. If you are going to continually launch the car, I would buy the wavetrac for the rear end. Now your car is a 12 second quarter mile car all day long. Maybe a little faster depending on altitude. It isn't too radical you can't enjoy it, and drive it anywhere, but fast enough to stay with about anything. There are a few more things you can do, but now you would have to monitor the motor and the air and fuel to be safe. Good luck....
If it is an N/A, then a single CAI, larger throttle body, and a tune will perk it up.
