Default Re: Any issues with rear camber kit?

I think those used heim joints for the ends? One may be on its way out, one of my ends produced a clunking type noise when it went bad. (MikeR arms though) with the wheel off the ground press all the way around the tire to check for play. Mine would only do it when pressing at about 7o clock (hard) but the noise was reproducible. (I posted a video but can't find it at the moment)

With the straight camber bars there can be contact between the camber arm and sway bar. This will make noises but is typically much louder and on large dips/bumps. (Unless you are really low). You can check under the sway or the top of the arm for signs of contact. If the contact is enough the bar can force the sway up into the body seam as well. You know when this happens because it's like BANG!! And your surprised to still be moving because the rear end certainly just came off.
