Machine Gray is always better than Black.
But unless you're planning on repainting the SRT, it may not be Machine Gray. Machine Gray was offered starting with 2006 models and on the remaining years (2007 & 2008). Graphite Gray was offered only during 2004 & 2005 model years. And the two colors are different despite what a paint company will tell you.
SRT6's produced & distributed in 2005 would have to be Graphite Gray, not Machine Gray (unless it was repainted).
A 2006 Machine Gray SRT6 may have been produced in the few produced for 2006, but even if it was, I don't think any of the 2006 SRT's ever made it over here for USA distribution. So if you've located a 2006 Machine Gray SRT6 in Europe, that could be a very rare car!
