Very good point, and with room for only two it should be safer, fewer distractions also. Never had "kids", just known many who were rewarded for something with a "first car", then proceed to trash or wreck it. Your daughter may well be an exception, especially if she shows a keen interest in maintaining it well. I'm almost 60 and still remember all the hours worked at 17, to buy my first, a 4 year old 67 Mustang, my pride and joy for many years. Best wishes in any case.
