Haven't done a Crossfire clutch yet but on other cars I use a plastic clutch alignment tool to align the disk to the pilot bushing when tightening the pressure plate. Makes getting the tranny in easy. Looks like one comes with at least one of the kits.
Can also have somone depress the clutch while wiggling the trans but is easier when aligned to begin with.
ps trying to pull the trans in with the bolts is a good way to break e$pen$ive things.
