My 2005 Crossfire had the fan motor come off the shroud. I cut a couple of zip ties and removed 4 clips and the whole thing came right out. I tested the motor by touching the connectors to a battery charger after removing the fan blade and it tested good. After putting it back together I am now my wife's hero as there is no light issue. Could be I got lucky but it's worth a shot.
