I just did this this weekend. I used an FM modulator (iSimple from Amazon) that plugs directly into the back of your stereo into the antenna port. The signal is strong and no static.

Then I used a bluetooth receiver and plugged it into the new "aux in" instead of using an audio cable.FM modulator.png
