Thanks for your replies...

The fuses are fine and all the other functions that are associated with the body control module are working fine. when I did change the fuse the wipers popped into the down position which was only a movement of inches.

The car has sat for 2 years although I would run it up an down our road each year, because of having a baby I just did not drive it much.

I guess I should let the dealer figure it out, but at least the body module might not be the problem if everything else is working. The mechanic stated he tested the circuit between the wiper switch and body control module and was only getting 12 volts and diagnostic chart states the body control module is defective. Obviously the body control module is not shorted out if all the other functions are working fine

Thanks for the speedy responses - much appreciated as I am not that familiar with mechanics

It is cool that I am getting a completely new roof though
