Re: "No Start" on eBay - cheap
On the low mileage subject: Crossfire owners tend to drive their cars far less than the national average given the numbers tossed around here on the forum regarding mileage. However I don't think we've done much in the way of actually taking a good statistically sound sample of this amongst our group.
The USDOT (FHWA) puts average mileage of a US Driver at around 13.5K per year (men = 16.5K, women = 10.1K).
Since this car is 10 years old, and using the FHWA numbers as a bench mark, this car falls below the "average" mileage mark, it would be low for a male driver and just about right if the driver were female. Again, this is assuming the car is a primary source of transportation for the owner and their driving habits are consistent with national norms.
But, as I said, XF owners don't seem to drive anywhere near those annual numbers. It would be interesting to find out where members of the forum are with mileage on their XF's.
I have an 05 with approximately 72K
Primary drive but I work from home.
