Thanks,

I've been watching them on ebay for the longest time. My birthday is coming up so I said I wanted the exhaust system and after my wife said something to the effect of - "$300+ for a stupid muffler!!!???", she said "ok, order it". She hates listening to my cry. I logged on and there were no listings! Last one sold was around June 11th, then they vanished from the site. Amazon was sold out saying there was no date for more coming. Went to OBX website and they are still showing it so I clicked their find a dealer link and got a blank page. I did a google search and came up empty except for the place linked above. They are the same company that listed them on ebay. Their website said in stock so I ordered one Saturday. We'll see what happens.

As I said above there's an identical mild steel version now listed on ebay with a different brand name. My biggest concern is having the muffler rot out in a few years and with retirement just around the corner I'll be cutting way back on toy spending so replacing rotting mufflers isn't going to be in the budget. Oh, I know. . . maybe the car will sound AWESOME with the bottom of the muffler gone. VRRROOOOOOMMMMM, pop, pop, pop!

Tom
