This is on a British right hand drive 2003 Crossfire Coupe automatic, 73,000 miles (ish)

When sat stationary and I floor the throttle with the car in full automatic mode (D) im finding the car will accelerate well in first but then will bounce off the limiter for between 0.5-1.5 seconds before eventually changing into 2nd gear.

I have also found the same problem when using the car in the semi automatic mode when flicking the stick right for up shifts.

I am also finding the same problem with traction control on and off.

is this normal? i have been considering a transmission oil change.
I Have recently given it a service (all filters and engine oil) but only owned the car a month so cant say I noticed the problem before the service.

all other gear changes are fine, 2nd to 3rd ect
please help
