Some on this site have said a roadster is worth a couple of thousand more than a coupe. My opinion is the gap is much wider and broadening. This stems in part from my Jensen Interceptor experience. The salon I owned would be worth maybe $3,500. The exact car in a convertible about $35,000. It is same with my XKE Jaguar. Without a folding top an easy 10 times difference in price. The difference is even more dramatic in comparing the value of my Dakota factory convertible to a hard top Dakota.

But certainly the value is that point where the price someone is willing to accept intersects the line one person is willing to pay on that day, for that car, in that location. And, asking prices are often very, very different from actual sales prices.
