galen, thanks for the tips. being the closet smoker i am, i too, enjoy one in the comfort and privacy of my own car. and you're right about the upholstry on the ceiling...
i've had it happen, and while i did virtually the same as you to make it less noticeable (and have since refrained from smoking in my crossfire as much as possible!), i had no idea an ash blowing back in would singe so quickly. luckily it's it's near the edge, but i know it's there.
does anyone know (or have any idea) how easy or difficult it would be to have that fabric replaced? or should i leave well-enough alone...? thanks for any advice. bonster
