The original question was to sell it or fix it. You seem to have chosen to fix it. But will you keep it? I would. With the mileage that you have the car probably won't command a big dollar, and then deducting the cost of your repair will decrease the actual return even more. And once it's fixed and you have a good running car that you must like, why sell at all?
