I can't really diagnose your current issue from here but I can suggest the following . . .
This forum has a wealth of information covering every possible issue with / modification for / how to do this and that with photos / regarding the Chrysler Crossfire. Nearly every post I have ever read about replacing the CPS always advises to only replace with a genuine Bosch part. I suspect you wasted your money and your time trying to save a few bucks on some aftermarket part. That's my opinion backed up by many many posts here on the forum. My advice is learn here first and then do . . .
