Take it with a grain of salt... but in this case, buy the current-level stock from a dealership you trust... not eBay.

WOW that's good to know. I have a "spare" Bosch CPS sitting in the box as a "just in case mine fails" part. It is likely one of those recalled units. I will look into that recall and try to get some details. Maybe Mercedes will swap out this part for the upgraded part??
