You're right, it is a bit of an orphan. That's why I'm looking for a good home here. As for the brakes, yes an upgrade would be nice. But, here in suburban Chicago where there's a cop on every corner it's hardly been a justifiable expense. And, one of the biggest complaints I've heard about the SRT has been the lack of a manual trans. I not trying to deny any of your points. This is a car that was built the way I (and many others) wish it had been built by AMG. And, it's not a car for everyone. Like I told friends every time they talked smack when I would run into a problem, "if you want an easy build that anyone can duplicate, go buy a mustang".
