Not sure if the factory tips would fit. The pipe to the factory tips measures 1-7/8" O.D. and the Maximizer outlet pipes are 2-3/8".
I do like the sound the more I drive the car. My Ultra Gauge shows my average mileage has dropped about 1/2 MPG and I'm blaming the new cat-back. The nice sound has caused my right foot to swell a little and become heavier.

In my description of the sound I said it was silent at idle but it really isn't, you can hear a soft purr. When accelerating my factory exhaust did growl and this muffler does so in a deeper tone. At freeway speed there's a nice low hum, but with the windows up it's subtle and sounds nice but not loud with the windows down. I really didn't want it to be loud at cruise because I love the stereo in my car and didn't want the exhaust to compete with the music. Keep in mind I'm 60 years old so the exhaust may sound louder to younger drivers. HUH??? What???

I guess in a nutshell, you can hear the exhaust now, where the factory system was almost silent unless you accelerated and wound the engine up.
