I have been to my local Chrysler parts dept & they told me they could get me a new clicker with the programed chip but they would have to order it. I don't have the code for my key (2nd owner) but the Chrysler dealer said he could get it for $30. Go back to Chrysler and ask for management & tell them that they can get your key cut & programmed. Someone just doesn't know how to do it. All you should need is your registration & drivers license. A new programmed clicker runs about $160. If they will use yours it should be less.
