I thought that I was alone with this problem. I hadn't driven a stick for quite a while, and the last one I drove that actually had any power was my Das's '63 Stingray. In driving feel and sound, my Crossfire brings back many of the same memories...but there's nothing similar in the starting line performance. Power kicks in hard in 2nd and 3rd, but I can't seem to get a good start. The one time I did SEEM to get a starting charge the Stability Control kicked in and shortened my enjoyment. Fortunately, it doesn't come in to affect the higher gears.

Maybe we need some racing lessons, as I am sure I've forgotten how to do this...and there's not much opportunity for practice.
