Default 2005 crossfire won't turn over

I've had the car for 6 days. It had a few problems like the top not being able to come down, but I think that was the only problem. 2 days ago I took it to the car wash and while I was washing it I noticed all the chemicals and water coming through the rear window, but nothing happened so I went on with my day. The problems started that night when I parked and noticed the side marker lights stayed on and I couldn't turn them off. I ended up taking the positive off the battery and going to sleep. I woke up Sunday thinking I could put the positive back on the battery and take off but nothing happened. All the lights would turn on and if I left the key turned to the right the fan would start running, but that's it there's no clicking noise nothing at all. The vehicle is at a mechanic right now. I'm just looking for info to hopefully speed up the fixing process. All information will be greatly appreciated.
