The response was from a guy (Linh Nguyen) that put a header on an SLK 230, he didn't read, or didn't know that your Crossfire had the V-6. The 4 banger apparently showed no gains from the header on a dyno. The reason being that the stock header was designed pretty decently.
Sorry, that's what I get for zipping thru the post without digesting it... Yes it was me asking the question and yes, I did find out that you would have to drop the engine... and yes the Super Sprint headers for the CLK fit the engine / exhaust manifold, but not the layout of the engine bay. I have since returned them and am back to square one. Any suggestions aside from having a custom set built ?
