Default Re: Brake Pressure Sensor

Makes sense, I show C1141 as "The Controller Antilock Brake (CAB) will set this DTC if the calculated ESP Brake Pressure Sensor 1 is out of the specified range.". Sensor has three connections: 1) ground 2) sensor 3) 12v. Since 194 bar is about 2800 psi I suspect the wheels would be locked if true with foot off brake.

So my first thought would be to pull the connector and check the voltages and then for a short between the sensor and either 12v or ground. If ok then check the sensor for continuity pin 2 should show very low (near short) from either 12v or ground and some ohms reading to the other.

Unfortunately I do not have a sensor in my hand so cannot say what the readings should be.

ps my feeling is that you have a short either in the wiring or in the sender. What are the foot on and foot off values if you unplug sender 1 ?
