It is NOT a difficult DIY, it just requires an extra set of hands to hold the top in position while many of the procedures are performed.
The rivets are the hardest part, but a good drill and bit and a pop rivet gun ( a cheap one will do ) are all that's required.
The new rivets should come as part of the top package, and the instructions in the service manual are spot-on.
