Re: crossfire capecod, Mass hookup
Taken from a post of LeaBea from the other forum.
For anyone who has not signed on and would like to join us, the Travelodge is easy to get to. Take the midcape highway (Route 6) to exit 8 (Yarmouth). Take a right off the exit and go all the way to Route 28. Take a left and cross the Bass River bridge. After you cross the bridge, you'll see the Travelodge on the right.
For a route, I was thinking of getting off 28 for awhile and following Lower County Road (less traffic and closer to the ocean - this is the ocean side of the Cape). In Harwich you get back on to 28 through Chatham. Work our way back to Route 6 and take it to Provincetown. After we've seen all we want to see, get back on Route 6 to Route 6A. This is the bay side (north side) of the Cape. We can then cut back across the Cape to route 28 back to start. For those who wish, I'm suggesting dinner at Capt. Parker's restaurant (clam chowder to die for). It might be a little crowded, but worth the wait.
Hope I've enticed some undecideds. See you on Sunday.
Note: Along the way, we will stop as long as often as necessary for photo ops.
If you have an FRS radio, they are handy for car to car communications.
